So hear I am, 9 months after starting this blog. Not only have I not lost any weight but I GAINED weight! But the past is the past and I will not dwell on it. I am pushing forward and I am ready for a change! While I was sitting in my Business Law class today it hit me, I CAN do this, but more importantly, I NEED to do this in order to live a long HEALTHY life! I have set my goals and I have set up my accountability. I plan on writing 3 posts a week on here which is a lot of commitment for me but that's okay because I need some commitment in my life! Every Sunday I will write a post about my progress this will include how much weight I lost that week, how I was feeling, I will also post progress photos once a month and any other random thing on my mind. Every Saturday I will post my weekly food journal, I am hoping this will help keep me accountable to actually write things down! And once a week I would like to post a new healthy recipe I tried. I am busier than I have ever been in my life right now, taking 18 credit hours of class and working part time but I am also more determined than I have ever been! I hope you will enjoy what you read on my blog and be encouraged to go out and get healthy no matter what the scale says!
My bible verse for the week that is helping keep me encouraged is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
